homebody was built from a simple idea: to help friends find their home and feel at home.

Jack Taylor and Mathew Ronk earned their real estate licenses in 2017, as juniors at the University of Texas, to help classmates find apartments and housing (and yes, rescue them from questionable Craigslist listings).

What started as a side hustle between classes quickly turned into relationship-building and experience that would go with them beyond their time at UT. By the time they graduated, Jack and Mathew had helped more than 250 students sign leases and realized this was just the beginning.

After graduating from Texas, the two remained in the real estate industry, getting valuable experience in commercial real estate focusing on institutional acquisitions, asset management and tenant representation.

In 2022, Taylor and Ronk made their side hustle official and named the business homebody with one mission: to help every body find their dream home.

When you work with homebody, a portion of the proceeds from the transaction will be donated to Habitat for Humanity Dallas to further our mission.

As both Dallas natives with a deep understanding of the Texas housing and commercial real estate market, Jack and Mathew bring a fresh perspective and a client-first approach to the real estate experience. With homebody, they're proving that finding your home can be simple, personal, and even fun.
